A DVR PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) card is quite similar to any other computer video card in several computers. Their functions, however, are totally different. DVR cards make it possible to record and display information using several cameras simultaneously. DVR cards are used in a computer system for monitoring or surveillance, in order to pass the information received from a source to a storage device.
